Si la conexión la tienes con Teléfonica seguramente la encriptación sea WEP 40/128 (lo que no me acuerdo nunca es si es ASCII o hexadecimal). Cuando te pida la contraseña, en el cuadro de dialogo que te aparece, tienes una pestaña de "Seguridad de red inalámbrica" pues bien, esta pestaña si la pulsas te aparecen mas opciones para seleccionar y una de ellas (la ASCII o la hexa) es la que tienes que elegir.

No se si me he explicado con claridad...
