La linea de comandos es tu amiga.
¿Has probado diskutil mount?
Por ejemplo
diskutil mount dsk1s2 (o el que corresponda en tu caso)
También
diskutil mountDisk loquesea
Si te funciona la puedes integrar en un applescript que te lo haga con u click...
