Por lo que he oido por aquí, SuperDuper sí hace lo que quieres.
Yo uso CarbonCopyCloner que también lo hace.
Pero como dice Exup, necesitas tener en algún momento y de alguna manera los dos discos operativos al mismo tiempo.
