Duda sobre iMac Intel y G5

Es que hay biene el dilema, y entre un G5 a 2100 con un 1Gb de Ram y un MacIntel a 2166 y 1 Gb de Ram hay mucha diferencia de prestacioes? asta lo que yo se cuando salio el G5 fue todo un revuelo y avance pero tb segun he oido los MacIntel vienen pisando muy fuerte, y por el ejemplo este G5 comprado con un pc portatil Intel Centrino a 1.86 y 1Gb de Ram ay bastante diferencia de de prestaciones a favor del iMac G5?, lo digo porque es el portatil que tengo ahora mismo y que quiero vender para comprarme un Mac, me equivoco? Un saludo...
