Hola a todos! Explico brevemente que ocurrió cuando ayer instalé la última actualización del paquete Office 2008 for Mac y como se soluciona por si a alguien le ha pasado lo mismo y ha tenido ganas de llamar a Microsoft y preguntar por la familia Gates:
Ayer al conectarme a internet se ejecutó el Microsoft Autoupdate avisando que había una actualización de 200 y pico de megas disponible, asi que la instalé y sin mayor problemas quedó todo listo.
El problema surgió cuando quise abrir un documento de Word, apareció una ventana de registro de Office y mas tarde el autoupdate. Completé ambos pasos y intenté de nuevo ejecutar Word y de nuevo aparecía todo el ciclo éste de registro y de autoupdate. Verifiqué permisos y reinicié y seguía pasando lo mismo con cualquier programa del paquete, de nuevo se abría el proceso de registro y update y no abría el programa, así que hoy buscando por la red encontré la solución que se detalla a continuación en la web de mackinando (http://www.mackinando.com/actualizacion/...-20042008/):
"If your copy of Office 2008 was installed with an invalid product key, or if you mistakenly used the same product key to install Office 2008 on more than one computer, you must remove the invalid product key and enter a valid product key to use Office 2008.
In the Finder, select /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/OfficePID.plist, and then on the File menu, click Move to Trash.
Select /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft Office 2008 settings.plist, and then on the File menu, click Move to Trash.
On the Apple menu, click Restart.
After your computer restarts, open any Office 2008 application.
The Office Setup Assistant opens.
Accept the software license agreement, and then enter your valid product key.
The product key is located on the back of the Office 2008 for Mac DVD sleeve or on the back of the Install Guide."
