Buenas a todos:

Me gustaría conectar dos Mac mini para aprovechar la ram y los procesadores de los dos para montar una "especie" de granja de render para programas como Photoshop, Final Cut, etc...

Alguien sabe cómo se podría hacer???

He visto en algún artículo que hay gente que ha llegado a montar hasta 160 Mac mini pero no dice qué tipo de software utiliza para compartir todos los recursos de los ordenadores.

Se podía muy fácilmente pero ya no en los MacOS más modernos.

Hasta el Lion, había un software incorporado en la opción Server, llamado Xgrid que servia para hacer lo que deseas.

Xgrid y de hecho las granjas de ordenadores, son sistemas muy orientados al trabajo de servidores y no de estaciones de trabajo.

Y no existe ningún programa que haga la misma función que hacía el Xgrid???
